ProGEO SW Europe Regional Working Group
The ProGEO SW Europe Regional Working Group was founded in 2010, gathering members from Andorra,
France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
The coordination of the ProGEO SW Europe Regional Working Group invites everyone interested on geoheritage and geoconservation to participate in the second edition of the Virtual Conference on Geoconservation, to be held from 27th to 29th March 2025. The program will include two days of scientific sessions and a dedicated day for a thematic workshop on the creation of virtual models of geoheritage sites. The event will take place exclusively online.
The main aims of this conference are to provide geoconservationists with the opportunity to share their work and research activities with other members of the community and to strength collaborations in the framework of geoconservation initiatives among the 5 countries.
The conference attendance is free of charge and open to everyone, and not only to ProGEO members. It will
happen in a full online environment, to which a registration is mandatory.
